Arnaud ROUGETET
My name is Arnaud Rougetet, and I'm an engineer specializing in mixed reality. With a Master's degree in Computer Science and Imaging from the University of Lille, I have acquired solid expertise in the development and management of projects linked to augmented and virtual reality.
Between 2020 and 2022, I had the opportunity to work at Wellputt as a virtual reality engineer. My main project was to create a putting training application for Oculus Quest. This experience was both rewarding and demanding, requiring a unique combination of technical and managerial skills. I was in charge of the research to recreate realistic ball physics, which enabled me to apply my R&D skills. In addition, I designed the application's software architecture from A to Z, confirming my ability to create sustainable and reusable software solutions. In addition to developing the application according to artistic needs, I deployed the final version of the application on the Oculus Store, demonstrating my skills in marketing technological products. This project was carried out in close collaboration with two 3D artists, demonstrating my skills in project management and interdisciplinary teamwork. This experience provided me with a solid platform to deepen my skills in virtual reality development.
In October 2022, I joined the team at Myxed, an innovative company specializing in mixed reality solutions. My role quickly immersed me in ambitious projects, including the production of demos on cutting-edge platforms such as Varjo and Hololens. This work enabled me to apply my technical skills while giving me the opportunity to familiarize myself with the latest advances in mixed reality. I also had the honor of working on bespoke projects for different customers, mostly on Varjo headsets, reinforcing my experience in developing customized solutions.
